At times, world’s master- poets,
ancient and modern
stir not the emotions of our mind.

We are more likely
to get a real poetical taste
through a noise
from beneath the earth-
a rumbling boooooom.

And are more likely
to taste the rhythms of life
through the stray dogs
howling at night.

No verse can match
the sight of a seed
sprouting out from
the Earth.

No metaphor can match
the grasshoppers mind.

No poet can detain in paper
the waggle of the dog’s tail.

No poet can measure the pulse
of a heavily bombarded street.

At times, world’s master- poets,
ancient and modern
stir not the emotions of our mind.

We are more likely
to get a real poetical taste
looking at the pigeon’s flight back home
to the beat of a magnetic drummer.

And are more likely
to taste the metaphors of life
through the roaming clouds.

There is poetry in the sun –set
and in a Crescent moon
that shines amid the stars at night.
