In this day and age, I do not believe God encourages mankind to wage war, yet wars rage. It's a never-ending plague of vengeance; man against man ... there is no 'winner' when we're pitted against one another.

Earth is diseased with the plague of vengeance
and we wear the stains—blots--crimson on our hands.
Oozing through our fingers and drenching all lands,
vengeance needs ONE to take a hearty stand …
to wipe this gore from ev’ry hair, strand.
With the stench of vengeance everywhere,
men are trampling, entrenched, in the devil’s lair.
Some dare to raise their hand to heaven and swear
that God told them we NEED to be over there
but He’s humane and known to care.
This plague of vengeance is thrust down our throats.
PRIDE is a glowing monster whenever he boasts.
One of these days, PRIDE will turn us into toast …
ignorantly. Animals we … our hides roast.
Is it PRIDE that we love the most?
We are carnivores--devouring each other--
never filled, our thirst unquenched, fill the gutter
with bones of innocence. They are but clutter.
When asked a straight question, we merely stutter …
castrate brothers, sons, cause slaughter.
Earthlings have fouled the ashes from which we rose
with crimson on our hands that still gushes, flows
through every orifice from our head to toes.
One of these days the Earth will implode, burst, blow,
bleach crimson pristine white … she’ll glow.
Earth will be purged with radiant righteousness
when no one exists without His forgiveness.

| Vengeance is mine saith the Lord. I will repay. But that there shall be wars and rumors of wars until the end of time. I do not pretend to know the mysteries of God but I trust in him enough to know that we will all understand in time. His wonders will be performed. |
