A Wild Card

At the front of the deck
or at the back
smack in the middle
whatever the tack
Wherever it pops up
can do no darn good
pointless and possessed
wearing an infamous hood
Sickly smile like that of a fool
plotting each move
with strategy of a tool
can be the begining
can be the end.............

I like this a lot... it is full of energy and surprise and can infer the innocence of the children's party trick, full of fun, or the desperation of the hopeless and debt-ridden card sharp, just about to lose everything. Unusual images of The Joker, too. Very modernist. Hip hop, in fact. Sharp work and very concise, Ch'erie. TY xx

Excellant write and easy transpose from the joker in the deck to someone in life who like seems to pop up unexpectedly from time to time.

Wild cards can be good, but Jokers in and of themselves usually spell trouble. That's why I don't play cards - except solitaire. LOL Well done, the deck stacked in your favor. :)
