|Got caught in a rip off of Playa del Carmen - happily splashing about in the ocean, all of a sudden, I'm being taken out to sea - my girlfriend's like, "Where are you going?!?!" I told her I'd be back - started swimming parallel to the beach, got out of the rip and decided that was enough playing in the water - don't panic, is the only advice I can give, that, and swim parallel to the beach - you'll get out eventually. =] Excellent write, Chazza.

|This one brought on a sad memory for some areas of Nova Scotia like Australia are noted for it's often dangerous rip tides. I lost a friend of mine who was scuba diving to one when I was only a teenager and his body was never recovered. great write Cherry Pie.
