If men plotted to do away
With the evils of this world, could they?
If hearts of evil chose to do good,
Is it possible that they could?
If all the hearts of the world were hardened,
Who would we have for offenses to be pardoned?
If one man could change hearts of many men,
Would we not need God all the more to dwell within?
If all in this world would do their part,
On the road for peace would we not start?
If world corruption is all a conspiracy,
Does that make world peace only a desired theory?
If I listened to the words of worldly men,
Would I stand proud, or would I bend?
If I followed the way of the world today,
Could I look myself in the mirror everyday?
