Love is...

Central and essential
Sedated and inflated
Around the corner and around the block
Stable or unstable; ready or not

An alibi; an excuse
Mistaken and misused
Prepared; unaware
Created, and sometimes cremated
New, but unknown
Known, but not shown

After a fight; only one night
What causes plights; only about sight
Pain and despair
Joy and care

Agape; eternal
Forever; nocturnal
Today and tomorrow,
And hopefully the days that will follow

Love has so many unique renditions.
Our hearts give love its many definitions.
We all see love as its own dear thing
And she sees us as her essence of being.
How dear to us is love we know,
How dear to us are our hearts that show,
What love is!

You are so right on about love - I am ultra impressed. I'm not busting on your age or anything, but for someone as young as you are, you are incredibly sagacious.

Congratulations on graduating. Hit me with some knowledge sometime - aminicole16.yahoo.com

Oh gosh man! This one is so good! Its sooo true man. Love has multiple definitonz and u covered a lot of them in this piece. Thats cool man! Oh on this part "New, but unknown
Known, but not shown" I didnt really get it, but maybe its just me. Cuz the way I was thinking, when something is new it IS unknown...the way I read it, it seemed as if u were saying being unknown is not necessarily a characteristic of being new. Email me w/ a response por favor! Gracias!!
