The Reaper

As the sting of death creeps upon me,
a chill over my shoulder like breath.
Warm on my flesh as I take a look behind
I see the future for me waiting.

Life has took its tole on me and time to
as the reaper make his way slowly to me
He reaches out his hand for me to hold
he said come with me you are mine now.

I slowly took his hand and stared at him
you are going to a place with me
never to return or your friends to see
hold on tight as we take our trip

For the moment of truth is now at hand
I am taking you to my promise land
as we walk the path with motion so slow
he says to me in a voice so low

Welcome home my child
Welcome to HELL

Sonja, when things seem their darkest, then comes the light. Hold on and things will be all right. There is more than one right way in life and more that one wrong. Thread slowly takkng one step at a time and facing today as if this was the last day of your life, and tomorrow will take care of its self. Love Bill
