"Not again", he softly cries,
Dreams of merriment now slain.
Ev'ry day the same demise,
Dying by his bedroom bane.

Scrubbing out a mattress stain,
Just to see it reappear,
Seems to him to be in vain,
Dropping yet another tear.

Friends go camping ev'ry year,
Sleepovers are ev'ry week.
Slumber is his biggest fear,
Waking to that awful reek.

Life for him is cold and bleak,
Father's belt, his only cure.
Now he thinks that he's a freak,
Father only made him sore.

He doesn't want this anymore,
He doesn't want to scrub his bed,
So now he sleeps upon the floor,
And keeps the stains inside his head.
