|Love, relationships and marriages are no dreams or phantasm. They are real life situations which can turn ones life for better or for worse. The ups and downs are part of every life situation, the problem is how to sail past them without breaking ones heart. Picking up the pieces of a broken heart is the worst part of a broken marriage. But then, loving and caressing for each other, working together side by side is the solution for a better marriage. Well said Laura!
Your poem is educationally informative.

|Although there are never guarantees, but if you care and share and work together side-by-side love may survive.
Let us hope so, Laura. Thank you. Love and best wishes,

|HOPEFULLY ONE LEARNS FROM PAST MISTAKES AND TAKING A 'CHANCE' IS A STEP OF FAITH...ONE NEVER KNOWS. BUT, WHEN THEY RELY ON GOD TO LEAD THE WAY AND GO WITH THEM DAY BY DAY THEN LOVE AND MARRIAGE...WORKS! WELL DONE, LAURA...ENJOYED. THANKS FOR SHARING. LOVE, BLESSINGS AND FAITH...JOYCE * HIS INSPIRATIONS|

and that's the challenge of it, Laura,
and yet we find the will (the need and want)
to try again; i admire your spirit and strength.

|Laura, my mind is in a whirlwind, as your words speak truth...so many broken rides, if only they could all withstand the downs that go with the ups :)

|Sadly I understand the picking up the pieces of a shattered heart. Not mine, Nanette's. I've forgiven myself for all my faults, but not that.|

|Marriage is really hard work. Young people think that it's sex and good times, but those that stick it out, to stay within the marriage through the good and bad times is hard work... But in time the couple begins to know each other and do less of what makes the other unhappy and more of what makes the other happy, but sometimes it is hard work.

|Really nice motion in your poem through the carnival imagery, and wise is your clear eyed look at the whole picture ~
