Papa America

Mulling over Condolese's little diatribe over the so-call "Iran-dispute" my stomach turned from severe boredom...yeah...we've heard all of this before...so what's Papa waiting for? Another check from the Security Council?
It's no longer a question of "who's next"

Papa America is the world’s craziest Papa. Papa America has many faces, swarms of servants and numerous humble slaves. Papa Eyes, Papa Ears, Papa Mouths, these are all over the place. Driven by gigantic appetites and bottomless interests, Papa Arms are all over the place, punching in faces here, breaking fingers there, you name it, the order is so colossal that the risk of over-reaching is forever present.

But in spite of the cosmic Appetite, Papa America can be very a generous Papa to his spoilt Baby in the desert.

Papa America supplies to his Baby all kinds of deadly Papa-made toys:

Papa-F-16s
Papa-Gun-ships
Papa-M$ Missiles
Papa-M$ Bombs
Papa-Apache Helicopters
Papa-Tanks
and other Papa-made products.

And as all spoilt brats do, Baby is spoilt rotten:
Baby goes to picnic in military tanks
Baby goes to picnic in whirring helicopters
Baby wreaks havoc all over the place
Baby defiles mosques, Baby invades churches

Baby's evil knows no bounds
Baby kills babies, Baby kills priests,
Baby forces women to deliver their babies at military checkpoints.

But Papa America is unperturbed
And Baby is only a chip off the old Bloke.

But, whenever Baby tastes something of his own medicine, Baby makes faces, and Papa gets sour at everyone else in the desert but at Baby.

So Baby kills Palestinians, and Papa's face shines with pride: My poor Baby!

Papa thinks occupation equals Bliss
Papa is for Slavery
Papa can't understand enough is enough
Papa is gullible; Papa believes in everything Baby tells him.

Baby thinks Papa is the Boss of Mother Earth, and Baby has no reason to believe otherwise.

And oh! yes! Baby does possess plenty of Poison...
But Papa aint no good at counting Baby products....

Now Baby's crying for a brand new toy:
Iran? Syria?
Syria? Iran?

Come on Security Council...holiday's over, write Papa another check!

Iraq's an old feather, already.
Papa America is the world’s craziest papa!

It saddens me to read this, Safi - why? Not all of Papa's children want to carry on his legacy ... we, the bastard offspring, have no say in the matter.

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.

ANYONE IN GOVERNMENT THAT VIOLATES THE CONSTITUTION OF HIS COUNTRY SHALL BE REMOVED; ANY GOVERNMENT THAT VIOLATES ANY INTERNATIONAL COVENANT, AND INTERNATIONAL LAW, is an OUTLAW, and therefore should be prosecuted in a COURT OF LAW in accordance with the LAW.

JUSTICE IS THE WAY... BUT JUSTICE WON΄T BE DELIVERED BY ANY THEOCRATIC or CAMOUFLAGED THEOCRATIC GOVERNMENT.

History gave us the picture... We all know how horrible it is... It is up to people to decide to be SLAVE or say NO to inJUSTICE.

Outstanding socio-political writing, which stimulates the study of history of international relations.

Sadly, your words serve to emphasize how little has changed throughout the history of the world, Safi. I believe that the only way to heal this world is for all to live as one in a "global village." So utopian, unrealistic and immature I am told. Well, the alternative doesn't look very good to me. Thank you for sharing your thoughts. Love and peace to you,

I've often wondered why American Muslims don't strap bombs under their shirts, go into churches in American neighborhoods, and blow up innocent Americans?

Do you think maybe, the American Muslims have found out that life is really worth living from living and learning in America?

We Americans don't kill people because they don't belong to our church.

America is about the freedom to believe the way we choose.

Eileen is right, you would kill us all, but I doubt you would strap a bomb on yourself, and blow yourself up for the cause of your
God.

You had you say, I had mine. Freedom of speech........
Why don't you forget about Papa America....

Since I believe in freedom of speech, and since I have lost loved ones in the defense of it, I will say that you are certainly entitled to your opinion and your right to express it; that is the end of my agreement with what you have to say. Live in the desert, die in the desert...I will not weep for your choices and I am certain you don't expect or wish me to.

It's an amazing thing...so many people all over the world risk their lives and the lives of those they love for the opportunity to live with Papa America...I don't see many people risking their lives to move over to the Middle East. I don't agree with the Iraq war personally or the way that it's been handled, but I do take issue with American bashing. Who owns the first door that other nations knock on when they're in trouble? Crazy ole' Papa America...who I might add, gives to those in need until it hurts. Do they do the same for us when we are in need? Sadly, NO. Enough said.

Iran, Syria....that's a whole lot less than the whole world that your Papa wants to take over Safi! You're not fooling anyone with your rhetoric! If you and your people had your way we'd all be dead now, and to think you can do and say whatever you want in this country. Something I could never do in yours! Be ashamed of yourself!
