THE VINTNER

His stock is rosy red, his nose
bloodhound sensitive;

Bordeaux and Burgundy, the river Loire,
California, Australia, China,
he's traveled far!

The glory of wine (of viti-culture)
he can extol: Cabernets, Chardonnay
Muscadet, Bacchus of the industry
he rolls the names around his tongue
leaving no Chateau or wine unsung:
Chateau Lafite, Chateau Latour,
Chateau Mouton, Chateau Margaux.

Sir, I've been withering on the vine
not knowing anything about wine;
not exactly a lager boy, but no far behind.

I don't know much about wine/s except that I do like it/them. Thank you for the lesson, Kenny. Love and peace,

Regis
