Ode to the broken heart. Wash away the blue.

I know your heart is breaking.
it takes so long to mend.
It will be okay one day.
Listen to me my friend
***
This poem is a shoulder
to cry away your tears.
This poem is a hug
to help move past all those years
Read with me and weep
whenever you need me, I'm here
It's the least I can do
for a special soul that's blue.
**
It's hard to move past the memories.
It's tearing your soul into.
When she moved on without you.
What were you to do?
***

This poem is a shoulder
to cry away those tears
This poem is a hug
to help move past all those years
read with me and be blue
whenever you need me, I'm here.
It's the least I can do
for your special soul that's blue..
**

How can she not stay with you?
How can she rip your soul away?
How did she hurt the sweetest heart?
She had to have reasons that day.
***

This poem is a shoulder
to cry away those tears
This poem is a hug
to help move past all those years
Read whenever you need me
Cry to my listening ear.
It's the least I can do
Start crying when you feel blue.
**

Wet the paper I write on
with your sad blue tears today.
run the ink all over place
washing your blues away
Crumple this paper with hurt
with great loss in your heart
Rip it up and remember
It's not the end it is a start.
***

It'll be okay sweet soul.
Cry those tears away.
You are a beautiful soul
in each & every way.
