At the bus stop,
Stood a lady,
That I met today,
Looking down, confused, depressed,
As her lover drove away,
Removing a platinum engagement ring,
Tossing it on the ground,
Beneath crowds of shuffling feet,
No longer could it be found,
Uttering there goes that man of mine,
I thought I knew him well,
As momma said when she was live,
Only time would tell,
For years I stood right by his side,
Never seen one sign,
But today he walked out of my life,
Like everything was fine,
I asked myself,
How could I have been so blind?
I saved up all my tears,
To shed on Valentines.
