I've made my peace with you
So strange;
As you and I have never disagreed or fought
Or sat and talked at length on anything,
It doesn't matter really.
We've connected,
In some way I can't explain or understand,
It's certainly outside my comfort zone,
But yet a bond I cannot break
No matter how hard I try.
And so I've made my peace
I'll love you whether it is ever known or not,
What matters is
You're still here,
And so am I.
