Pale.
Beaten…
The world is unkind in times like these.
The good are lost and swept under the sea.

A gripping poem, Mariah. Your words reach deeply in my soul and echo there. Love and best wishes,

Mariah when I read this for some reason it was so well done and with such a bittersweet sadness in the folds between the lines it made me think for a moment about your mother who was also one of the great writers of the den. I hope all is well with you both and hope your heart and your words will continue to grace our den for a long time to come.

Very well written,
