My Little Secret

It wasn’t you that frightened me.
It wasn’t you that made me weak.
I let my mind run away again, and you were there.

It was the thought of you, your body looming over me.
Who knew eyes could do so much.
Lustful and loving at the same time…if possible.
Pressing me within the confines of my naivety.
My pure mind.

You wanted it.
You thrive on it as now I unconsciously fantasize over you.
Damn you…damn your sweet charms.
Taking away my innocence as my own body betrays me.

Your voice itself could make me surrender everything
The lilting brogue sweeping over me with the faintest of caresses…like a lover’s tongue.
Seducing me to your wishes.
Damn you, Love.

My dear sweet Mariah...

Just friends now? I think the heart pines more than friends. Perhaps it will all come again soon.

I love you. You are growing and your poetry is more phenomenal than ever. You make me very proud although pain writes from the heart it is the willingness to share with others in prose that is very welcomed to others in that same pain.

Love,
