The delicate fragrance
Of an ideal love,
The golden threshold,
Where the happy heart
In divine marriage
Gently lay down,
But a rough
That by irony of dialect
Love only sells
Like getto’s goods!
Is the earthly life
Without the divine wing
...I am stunned....
I'm saving this...TY!!!

|Man's middle name is Greed in most cases. Unfortunately life's graveled road gives us scars and pains from the learning experience. For those who find lust breeds greed then the lesson is there for the taking. For those who learn the values of love and the treasures of true passions, then ...they lasso the Universe.
I adore the words you choose so msticulously and for your art of translation... I bow.
Love and peace,

|Marco...you make me sad that I never learned my native
tongue of Italian. Your first version, in the language,
must be of a beauty that transcends much of what I have
read in modern day poetry.
Even this translation, my friend, is magnifico! Molti grazie!
"The pain of love's ending is the greatest torment of the earth.!
What a powerhouse of a statement, in a powerful piece of poetry.
I am so glad I found your web pages. Keep writing, Marco. You
are a genius mind.
