I would like to vaunt, living happily
From the world secluded
But if I look around, my heart breaks !
Such misery is all that my eyes see...
So cowardly and wretched
What the mind can do !
Days are desolate, bare,
lacking illusion.
Vegetating, annulling passion.

How tortured is my heart so many
Eternal hours of a dull,
stagnated life
Where the sun's rays are hidden
And the dense dark impresses
My barren soul.
It's a worse death than death itself
That changes the intention
Of Human purpose.

In these hours of boredom,
exasperated wait
The absence of hope is the real tragedy
Of a life foolishly spent, terminated.

hope must be w/in this Poet, as he wrote for us...yes?

Marco, this poetry has truth and strength, your verses have sharp and jagged edges! This is a write reflective of a dark mood, but it is also a mirror in which we can see the perspective of the image looking back. Really well-written, nice work!

Very good description of a parralel dungeon I sometimes visit, but I would hate to stay there forever. Remember, life thrives on cycles, there is an opposite to now that will come in the future. The tough part is riding it out until it does. :) Here's a smile for you, Marco... Btw, love the last line, delivers the punch.

Marco my dear, negativity is the door to failure. A dark mood is good only if it leads to enlightenment;-)Excellent write!
