If you feel you've been loving someone
And you're not getting fulfillment,
If you feel you've been let down,
Maybe you're being betrayed,

If your friend is holding out on you,
And you know, you can tell by their actions,
And you know, you share most everything
Maybe you're being betrayed,

If you think you really know someone,
They fail to look you square in the eyes,
When a question is asked? Straight out!
Maybe you're being betrayed,

When your lover comes home,
After a long and late night acting strange,
Suddenly, you know something isn't right,
Maybe you're being betrayed,

If this is you, I have one thing to say,
Forgive your family, friends, lovers,
But harbor no resentment.
