Opaque memories
translucent emanations
frosty images
glazed now with transparent mist
crying alabaster tears.

Carolyn,
I like how your word choices paint different shades of white/light. They made me think of a pearl, so by the time I got to the last line, the tears were pearl shaped in my mind. A lovely write. Hugs,
Sheila

The perfection of this Tanka is in direct proportion to the perfection of the flower of which you write. Well done Carolyn.
