It's when
it's all been
broken apart
like glass
shattered to fragments
pieces of the past
shimmering, floating in the air
like sunlight on dust particles
that never settle.

It's when
it's all been
taken away
by invisible fingers
of a two-faced universe
removing the life you
worked so hard for
making you look like
something you're not.

It's when
there is
nothing left to
get a grip on
to reach for or
to hold on to
so far removed from a
point of reference
leaving you
comfortably numb
in forced nothingness.

It is then
stripped bare
standing soul-naked to
the universe that both
gives and takes
that you are brought
to your self
to console with
your own soul
and find out
who you
really
are.

"So Far Removed"... Composed with sage words from the lexicon of the wise... True poemization of emotions from imagination that traveled through the nine seas of questions making stops in twelve planets in eternal wondering of creation to land on the ground of reality with a decision to remove the skin like a snake and allow a new one to grow...

"So Far Removed" is a masterpiece of poetical best.

I Salute You, Author Poet Carolyn Red Bear.
