Something for us all to think about in the following week ahead.

             To Be Remembered

How do you want to be remembered?
What do you want to leave behind?
Will it be the sound of your laughter?
On a rainy day in September?
Or when cryin’ babies, you don’t mind?
How about the travels you’ve been on?
Your face it glows of days long gone,
Stories told, yes they unfold
Every detail shared like shiny gold.

How do you want to be remembered?
What will others say of you?
Were you the class clown of your youth?
Or maybe you lived by God’s truth.
Your gentle spirit and hands on those
That’s what your caring heart chose.
Giving up your time to do
Charity work it became a part of you
Oh, this precious gift you did not lose.

How do you want to be remembered?
Or do you want to be remembered at all?
Were you the one who so slumbered
While others worked, took heed to the call?
Every man, woman and child
Will leave their mark behind,
For some it is very mild and meek
And for others it is their character so wild.

A great Thinking poem. It gives one pause to reflect on what they are doing and accomplising in life. We only go this way once , so why not be the best we can be! Some want to leave something of them selves to be rememberd by. Others don't think about it very much at all..........M

To be remembered is a wonderful thing, a loving mother or a there for a friend in need, such things are noble a deed. To make someone laugh when blue is a gift only a few ever use.
