To the muse...

Must we give reasons for newer passions
That hint of Doppler shifts in prosaic lives?
How a brief rendezvous destines occasions
Reverberating endlessly in lives,
Is no placid emoting in a demure dimension.
There rules a universal truth though grim
Logic berates our wit's ascension
Into easy verisimilitude and whim.
Locked in an eternal number prime,
Indivisible by rules bound on this earth.
I feel your divine presence, bell-like, chime
On my inner ear -- angel tussle, and mirth.
That we are locked in lambent polyphony
Is now written in stars, in you, in me.

A true sonnet and they aren't easy to write! Beautiful.

This is a poem with full "poetential". Very enjoyable, and inspiring.

The title misguides the readers, for "Sonnet on Prime Numbers" is not a "SONNET". It is not a "Blank Sonnet" either, except for the "fourteen lines".
