A Valentine's Day poem offering sincere wishes for our loved ones, whether those loved ones are near to us or far away.

If you would be my Valentine
I’d never ask for more
Since every dream would then be mine
I’d bask in joy galore
My dear, you’ve always been a friend
An angel from above
On whom I can always depend
You are the one I love.

If you would be my Valentine
Much peace would come to me
I’d take the moment as a sign
Some things were meant to be
I’d clinch you in a warm embrace
While smiling big and bold
Then, I would pause to kiss the face
Of the gift I’d behold.

If you would be my Valentine
I’d know deep in my heart
Our lives were meant to intertwine
And nevermore to part
In my life, you have meant the world
That fact is not denied
I hope this day for love unfurled
Will lead you to my side.

I'll be your valentine if you will be mine, but I really don't celebrate Valentine's Day. (Nobody loves me...LOL)

(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in Burleson, Karen Lynn. :)
