|I think this poem retraces the steps of many, not just the two...such beautifully told journey of memory and coming, perhaps sadly, to terms with such loss and betrayal. Promises broken leave scars as real as any. Many blessings to you lovely lady.

A whisper in the wind for faith will surely guide you.
Deeply emotional poetry.

|Such an aching sadness here, Lily, and a beautiful tale of a story too-often told that is a part of life's fabric for too many. We can feel the heaviness with every step - dunes and woodland conjure heavy-underfoot with entanglement of mind, body, spirit. It's very painful when such a union falters for whatever reason - especially hard when it's because of unfathomable 'change' of personhood or reason in the other. Wishing health, healing and protection in the journey onwards in what can, at times, seem a harsh and brutal reality. xx|

|Your poetic voice always makes the heart sigh, it's as if he is in a magic forest where a spell so dark has been cast, it will take everything from him and only his true love can save him . But if she tries , she too will suffer more and the outcome is most uncertain. This is a love poem from start to finish. Bravo. ( and if it's personal, oh, that fool)|

|Why do I feel a whole lot of guilt landing on me as I read your meaningful verses, Carol? It does not change anything... ...but it hurts. Love and best wishes always,
