"Love is composed of a single soul inhabiting two bodies" ~Aristotle~

 Thinking of You

There is nothing more lovely than thinking of you

From mornings dawn light through the sparkle of dew

From each waking moment as I rise out of bed

I spend my time thinking and looking ahead

First kiss made immortal embrace made to last

Flows through as cool waters of embered parched past

The stars we hath witnessed and crescent of moon

Cool summer nights and the calling of Loon

A lovely surrender as you captured my heart

Hearts residing as one and not ever to part

Embraced as the lovers of impassioned array

Forever inside as to always remain

Thinking of you…

You know what love is all about, you show it many times in relationships and in your romance writing. You are a woman who is well informed and/or experienced in every aspect of your writing. I am continually impressed.

Lily,
How beautifully written and presented. Your photo fits so well with this poem. I felt a dreamy flowing pattern in your words, soothing as a lullaby and clear as the ocean on a beautiful spring morning.

Much peace, love and light,
Amber

The true essence of love with such innocence and beauty sparking the imagination. I will echo the gentleman Jerry, "this is a love poem." You are a precious gift my lady.

I bow and tip my hat

Okay. THIS is a love poem as it should be written. Many will read this and silently say to themselves, "Why can't I find a love so wonderful?"

The poem has an energy to it that flows straight into the readers hear, it's as though you found an old gypsy woman and she put a spell on the poem.

It was wonderful.

P.S.: I have never heard that quote by Aristotle. Love will never be explained any better than those ten word.
