Lily
‘O the beauty thee possess
I hold with love, desire caress
Mesmerized within green eyes
You’re my dawning, deeply sighs
Barefoot in your garden walk,
dress billows like the wave doth froth
Charmed of innocence you be
An Angel brought and cast to me
Embrace around sweet Lily o’ mine
Pure and gentle flower divine
That man do not impart on you,
with lustful eyes unholy do
T’is me you graced and given love
And to protect I will thereof
For we must not ‘ere bid adieu
Thee part of me and me of you
So hear my words for they are true
A gentleman’s plea I must construe
Adorn your heart with gentle kiss
That which my love you’ll never miss
For lady gentle, always are
Hold but perfection, nary scars
No apparition sent to me
But twilights dawning Crystal Sea
To watch you sleep but is my dream
For nary sleep I watch of thee
Ah but to cradle in my arms
Sweet Lily I whilst save ‘o harm
A man but ‘ere can wish to be
Your shining knight to carry thee
And whilst you sleep I whisper love
Soft and gentle like a dove
For nary do I wish to wake
Sweet Lily love I not forsake
