Donít find love, let love find you. Thatís why itís called falling in love, because you donít force yourself to fall, you just fall with your heart surrounded in deeper meaning beyond lust

 Moonlight sonata

Tonight we stand amongst the stars

Bright moonlight beams our framework are

Glimmered stars like eyes love shine

My doyen heart my love divine

Nary want to sleep naught more

But if I do please whisper more

Disclose unto me love adored

And let them brush desire afore

To feel nights wind about our souls

Whilst loving arms to each behold

Here a neath loves nightly sky

Both apportion doting sighs

For once you said to me you speak

Loves tender moments whilst I sleep

For love comes naught of burning ache

It comes from heart brand no mistake

So hold me now in tender thought

Not lustful eye please oh do naught

For if your love be that of true

For only then whilst you anew

And see the light that shines within

For only that of true love wins

Like new the air of early morn

For this my love you be reborn

You have me "stumped" as to what you might meant by "doyen heart" and, as you know, I am not fond of archaic English (language in general). However, this is a fine romantic offering. Thank you for sharing it, Carol. Love and best wishes to you,

SO much love in this. Once fallen, truly fallen one may never again love wholey as only that one has spawned. I have twice written of of just such words spoken in dreams to one who sleeps. Beautiful poem.

Stay well and keep writing

Great advice about falling in love and the wonderful result so beautifully expressed in your last stanza.

Earlier, I started writing my poem this week, entitled, Moonlight Serenade. I wonder If our muses crossed when I dreamt the idea last night.

The Moonlight Sonata is a masterpiece by Ludwig van Beethoven, composed in 1801 and dedicated to Countess Giulietta Guicciardi.
You composed a new masterpiece with the same name Moonlight Sonata.
A masterpiece full of beautiful love and deep romance, dedicated to the one you love.
Your heart overflows with love and beauty

Beautiful Lilly, you know how to write it and I wonder if the person you love knows how to feel it. I like what Jerry said- Like new the air of early morn - For this my love you be reborn. True love is beautiful Lilly and I think you know what it is.

Beautifully composed, and why am I not surprised? Your cadence and structure in this beauty is like reading the masters' poetical love poems. Superbly ended with these immortal words, "Like new the air of early morn / For this my love you be reborn."
