I hate my eyes

They can't take in enough of you

Betraying my secret thoughts

Can you resist the love they reflect?

Can you deal with the tears they shed?

Your beauty destroys me

I lay scattered at your feet

I search the level of my platform

There was only ever me

But I see you from afar

Our paths are destined, on a collision course

To resist is futile

Fatalistic inevitability commenced on that night

And it will survive forever

I am a master of pain

Don't hurt me, marry me, bury me

The rawness of passion's truth. The need to simply indulge the desire and not have weird consequences attached; a love to completeness and ending. Great show of spirited passion, yet, so, with a rawness that feeds a clear understanding.

Rich and compelling as dark chocolate, David, and with the touch of its bittersweet sensuality and its power.

David,

What a very romantic poem for the woman who is the inspiration for it.

She is but a fool to let you go...but David trying to force something only stagnates it..Just manifest it, and let it go, let the Universe handle the outcome..it will be what it is suppose to be..You are a beautiful soul, don't ever forget it..

Much peace, love and light,
Amber

This interesting poem gives that "special person" a look at your inner soul. It also leaves you vulnerable.........! A lucky lady to be cared for this much.
