Pride in self is often a great source of mirth to others.
No one was ever as smart as I,
seeing everything writ - low or high,
I know the path of the wily gene,
why witches dance the solstice scene,
and how clouds fly through the azure sky.
I climb tall rocks with never a slip,
scanning all - never losing my grip,
there never was anyone quite like me,
observant and clever as clever can be,
with a mind as sharp as a nine-tailed whip.
The finest computer you ever did see
never knew as much as is known by me,
for I input data without any lagging,
just simple truth - I am not bragging,
a superior brain - you must agree.
Grinning as darkly mythos grows,
knowing those things that no one knows,
on I go in complacent bliss,
destined to smile even as I miss
that quicksand hole in front of my nose.
