Mourning Chardonnay

Morning chardonnay,

Stimulating afternoon,

Consuming another beautiful day,

Anticipating the winter moon.

The setting Sun points a lazy portrait

Of what was and is to come.

Impressions, illuminating their wisdom

with sight and sound.

I conjure up the feeling

of the musician, the composer.

As the Sun settles,

so do my moods.

As the moon rises,

so does my Spirit.

It’s important to share light

with other Luminous beings.

A full glass,

A strong smoke,

A cold wind,

A savory appetite.

The dawn is a wonderful

Time of day.
