Reflections and new directions

What's next, I said to myself
My life seemed to be up on a shelf

What buttoms to push, what handles to grab
To get past the present stagnation and drab

Is it germination before a new station
An imminent thrust into greater maturation

I guess it's just life in it's many stages
It's worked that way throughout the long ages

Before we can have that, whatever that is
We must go through this, and finish this quiz

To get the best out of life without getting heady
It seems we have primings inorder to be ready

The next steps I muse, for each one it seems
Depends on our actions and not just our dreams

Spiritually Inclined
