God knows our trials and temptations

O Lord God thou knowest
temptations I face everyday
before thee I kneel and tremblest
your blood wash my sins away

O Lord God thou knowest
thy failures and thy strength
your sacrifice Son thou giveth
created the world
with your mighty breath

O Lord God thou knowest
the things I pray for everyday
lead thy path O gentle Saviour
and help me to stand and obey

O Lord god thou knowest
I kneel and pray everyday
how I long to get to heaven
to worship on my first Sabbath day.
