If you have never taken the time to visit and read Chantilly Lace's Homepage and Bio, may I suggest that you do so?
Each Human Life is very complex. Each of us has a multi-faceted existence that sometimes causes us to be 'Labeled.'
To truly understand and appreciate any person, including ourselves, it is necessary to consider that - sometimes, 'The Whole is Greater than the Sum of its Parts.'
I humbly believe that this 'Tribute' to this Author, One of Our Own, is but a small measure of that which she truly Deserves.
PAL ... Peace - Abundance - Love ...
To ALL of God's Creatures ...
Both Great and Small!
I had no picture that was apropos, of a Doctor, or even anything remotely connected. I tried to copy Chantilly's pic, but couldn't - so, above you see God's Handiwork ... a double Rainbow!

MY DEAR DOCTOR 'O' ...
The 'O' is for Oncologist, for we know not your True Name.
Some day, way way into the Future, you shall arrive at "The Pearly Gates".
Saint Peter's List may have 'Temptress' on it as your Notable Fame.
But, my Dear, Dear Woman, 'Love, Devotion, Dreaming, and Compassion'
Shall be the Over-Whelming Side of the 'Balance Sheet' -
Where God's Tremendous 'Gift' to you shall Shine Forth as the Sun's Flame!
HE ALONE KNOWS the True Depth of your Commitment and Dedication -
HE ALONE KNOWS WHY ... HE also Gave you that Tremendous Talent -
For the Debit Side, that 'Hot and Steamy' Ability to Relieve Tension, Stress, and Mortification ...
That 'Release Valve' that Soothes the Soul, and Proffers a Semblance -
Of Needed Pleasure to Counter Life’s Miseries and Maladaptation.
To Lose Any Loved One - Family, Friend, or even Pet -
Is a Heart-Rending, Hurtful Event, we can not, too soon Forget -
But, to Choose an Occupation which presents a Constant -
Hourly, Weekly, Monthly, Yearly - Repetition of Such Hurt -
THAT - My Dear Chantilly Lace, is the Epitome of:
Self-Sacrifice - Dedication - Compassion - Devotion ...
And Most Assuredly ... the Deepest LOVE!
“Surely, as Night follows Day ...”
JADI and Every Patient You Have Ever Attended -
Knows, Appreciates, and Thanks You Eternally -
For Your Efforts and Your LOVE!
MAY GOD BLESS DOCTOR ‘O’ IMMENSELY!

Were I a doctor, I would not want to be an oncologist for all the tea in China-too many losses.....It speaks to Chzntilly's strength of character that she can pull off this difficult specialty with grace and good humor....

| Tom, one of my old "Dickisms" is that beauty is only skin deep, but Ugly runs clear through. Well in Chantie's case the beauty runs all the way through too. On top of that, her writing is magical. We're lucky to have her, thanks for pointing that out old friend. Dick |
