Game 7

Vancouver, BC, Canada

Bruins vs Cannucks

They stand nose to nose

Skate to skate

Stick to stick

Holding their breaths

Waiting for the

Puck to drop….

Plop

And they are off

And running,

Chasing a small

Black disc back and

Forth

Trying to get it into

The net to score

Three periods

And when it Ends

One will be the

Champions

For a year.

They play as if

Their very lives

And salaries

Depended on it

And when it ends

One stands tall

And proud

at center ice...

The Bruins hold the

Dr Stanley’s Cup

High…

But are the Cannucks

Really losers?

Not really…they are just

Interns practicing for

The real big game

That may someday

Glide across the ice

In front of them.

I don't think the cannucks are losers for certain, they will come back next year...but their fans that went on a rampage and rioted, they on the other hand are consummate losers...ed

What a gripping series this has been, Susan!
It has been nearly forty years and suddenly I'm finding myself surrounded by Bruins fans :)

the better team won, roberto luongo as canucks goalie is finished....

The Cannucks may not be losers, I know how we don't like for anyone to have to lose anymore, but the fact is they are losers in this game. I think the final score bears me out. But then I suppose I'm just thinking with a Neanderthal mindset.
