I sit here this morning,
Ten years later
Watching a Memorial
Service for those
Lost on
911 2001.
There is a moment
Of silence
And suddenly, here
Over my head
The sound of a plane
And it makes it
Oh so much more
Real!
The feelings of that day
Come rushing back…
The shock, that
What the hell??????
The fear of not knowing….
It all comes back..
We will never forget
We must never forget
The day the world
Changed forever.

Nicely stated Susan, everyone has their memories of that day and that time in our lives. You've only scratched the surface here, but it's some damn fine scratching.
