Dad was named

For an old

Family friend

Who “had Money”.

When the old friend

Died

Dad inherited

No money, just

An old violin.

He went looking

For it one day

Thinking his girls

Might want to

Learn to play.

 

His father had

Sold it to

A junk dealer.
