You've asked me why I broke up with you and why I chose not to marry you. Here are the reasons why...

I didnít mean to hurt you
I didnít mean to make you cry
You asked why I broke up with you
Here are the reasons whyÖ

It started with your anger
Held deep within your heart
This was probably most instrumental
In pulling us a part

Your disrespect of men was clearly evident
In how you treated meÖ
The arguing, bickering and debating
Over nothing incessantly

You won ever disagreement
You were the victor in every debate
My words no matter how eloquent
You were always able to negate

You claimed you didnít need a man
You kept drilling that in my heart
Thatís another crucial factor
That ultimately pulled us apart

Concerning your previous relationships
And all that was done and said
You seem to keep forgetting
You freely and willingly
Laid in those brothas beds

They promised you nothing
And that is what they owe
They delivered just as they said
But you refuse to let it go

Iím not one of your exís
In character, act or deed
Comparing any man to your past
Will always make your heart bleed

A good man has got to do
What a good man has got to do
Those are the reasons
I chose not to marry you.

This is well said my brother and this goes out to all the stupid women that can't appreciate a good man, being so use to the bad ones. Women really need to pick up their self esteem because if they dont they will be old and alone. How could a woman like this be marriage material? What is going on in her brain? Alot of women should be ashamed and stop giving the good women a bad name. Men become hurt and react the same way and pass up a good thing when it comes along also but hey that is the way the opposite sex carry on. Well done another excellent read.
