The roar of the wind
Shakes the house
Its gusts knock
A flurry of leaves
Against the window.
On the roof
And against the glass panes
And brick foundations
The rain --
A steady stream --
Beats down
Rhythmically and steadily
Through the night and
Wee hours of the morning
But I have
No fear,
No worries.
It's just a winter storm
Its lullaby sings me
Back to sleep.

I can completely relate to these sentiments, Marie. I love to fall asleep to the song of the wind and the rain. Thank you for sharing this gift. Love and best wishes,
