Rune Tree

Become a Fan

On the smooth bark
Of trunk and branches of
Trees in the Guadalupe Mountains
Is carved
Letters and words.
Of these writings,
Some are names
And others are messages.
In all of these
I feel a magic,
A power and
A connection between
Man and nature and the
God that created them both
Enscribed on this rune tree.
