The plot builds relentlessly and so well that by the end one does not know whether to laugh or cry..

Lots of...detours.

Detour

There was no deliberation in this.

It was an annoying inconvenient detour

That put me on this road again

Reminding me that so much of my past

Is our past.

Why is it my memory that can be so bad

Remembers our happiness on this road

Like it was yesterday?

Neither one of us is happy now.

There are far too many of these roads in my life.

Perhaps it is easier for you-

One thousand miles away from our past-

Extending the aberration you created.

But maybe it’s not.

Because if you remember our happiness

You will also have to remember

That you put it in our past.

Some things we cannot forget even if we forgive. Heart touching pen John.

It is amazing how memories and heartaches overshadow and overwhelm. They can be wonderful or heartbreaking, happy or sad, loving or hateful but sadly the bad usually drown out the good. Good Capture.
