Midnight Dancer
Midnight dancer dance into the flame,
Dance through the candle again and again,
With a sweep of your hair like a serpent throng,
Dance on past midnight, at dawn you'll be gone.
Dance in the twilight on a hot summer night,
Skip through the fields and fly high as a kite.
Dance on my heart oh be gentle and soft,
Chance me to be elated, never to stop.
Dance in the rhythm of the nightingale tune,
Faraway ecstasy dance back to me soon.
Dance ever nearer, hold me with your gaze,
Love me at midnight, lead me through your maze,
Of eloquent footsteps and oh so much more,
Dance me your ritual of pleasures to come.
Dance 'til you are breathless then fall to my arms,
And thus, when it's midnight, together we'll dance.
