The portrait is one I painted.

There are times, entwined within your arms
Eyes soft with tenderness and love
that I truly feel your love
Deep, intense, real
It permeates my being
and saturates my senses.
In the mesmerising moment
of realisation,
as you breathe into my hair
I speak my love out
in whispered words
"I love you...I love you"
as though discovering its meaning anew.
And with the wonder of that discovery
refreshed and renewed
I let go, content in our 'togetherness'
Releasing  those questions and doubts...
I know
The answer is and always will be

That is an exceptionally fine portrait. You've captured his soul in those eyes and your words capture the love you have for one another. Well done. Blessings, J'nia

No greater tribute could you give to him and to the love you share with him. You are a woman of many talents, the painting is beautiful as well.

Chanti, I was told some years ago that it was difficult to wed
the art of painting to the art of writing. I didn't believe it
then, and I definitely don't believe it now. Your intense love
for Ed shines through in both media, and I suggest in all media
should you put your lovely hand to it. -gene.

This is so beautiful, my friend. I found my own personal connection within the words you wrote. Additionally, I am always absolutely amazed at your talent to paint. This portrait is incredible!

I have just recently returned to AuthorsDen after a very long, unintended absence, and I've missed being here. I miss writing even more.

More than that, though, I have missed your friendship and have missed talking with you soooo much! Do be in touch as you're able.

My love to you,
