Thank You Lord
I thank the Lord in the heavens above,
for the air, with each new breathe I take,
family and friends, those whom I love,
helping me with the decisions I make.
Giving thanks for rain and raging rivers,
for the grass that grows upon the ground,
all the goodness and happiness He delivers,
beauty, mystery, and excitement of the land.
I am so grateful to just see each new day,
thankful of Love and our human emotions,
so happy the Lord helps to show us the way,
my heart holds love, honor, and devotion.
The simple pleasures come from Godís grace,
from rainbows that stretch across the blue sky,
to candy, good food, and even satin and lace,
questions, answers to things we know not why.
I give thanks for each day I spent on this earth,
whether the sun is shining or itís pouring rain,
wondrous pleasures Iíve discovered since birth,
apologizing that man has caused so much pain.

Many blessings to you,

|Excellent, this is living. It reminds me of the works and teaching of the late great Anthony De Mello.|
