This is written in the knowledge that my expartner is now dying of cancer, and I am confused.

Another Old Soldier dies;
is there anyone there, is there a brass band?

NO!

He dies quietly in pain and paupersim;
                            He dies in confusion and fear.
I have walked this path so many times;
                           But not with someone I loved
I cannot rescue him this time;
                            I can only let him die with dignity.

The Wrath of Lucifer's Deadly Sin by Carol Fowler

A successful suspense/thriller keeps the reader on the edge of their seat. That's why I like stories that seem realistic and leave a hard punch. This story is one of my most shocki..
