My head is cradled
by earth’s green grass.
How did I come to lie here?

Beside me is a flowing stream
that seems to sing a lullaby.
Does it call my name?

The sun warms my face
and a tear falls from my eye.
Will it carry my soul?

A gentle breeze
calms my spirit.
Am I dancing with a dream?

The teardrop
tumbles into the stream
and I am awakened.
