Never place anything before family. It will cause you internal pain. Jim

Seclusion of the truth
Is your best tactic
Concealing sperms of trouble and fear
Like a prophylactic

Displaying your shield of happiness
To the public’s eye
Knowing that deep in your abyss
Lies an everlasting cry

Because your tank is half full
As your family walks down in the valley
While your business remains on top of the mountain
Causing the roots to dry rot under your family tree

Because your love for family is high
But your actions are low
Causing your internal roots to decay
For the lack of love you show

As your trials
Grow on the inside
Your mask will turn into glass
And your internal pain can no longer hide

Hey J,
I really loved this poem. So true and straight to the point. I am trying to slow down and enjoy mine more.
