hello Gwynn, I read your poem,"A Marine's Mother". Your pride does show and rightfully so. Our war heroes living and not are important. We should always be thankful for their sacrifices. Wishing you all the best. Please feel free to visit my site here in the "Den"

Once a marine always a marine they say. My cousin's husband is a former marine and has organized marine reunions each year at different places for his unit. Many attend. They went to Alaska on a cruise last year.

I guesss you share the thoughts of so many mothers whose sons and daughters are in the middle east today - instead of the UN forces.
You have a beautifully Welsh name - that must explain your love for poetry and words!
Well done

I had the same feeling when I saw nephews and young cousins recently come home in uniform. They grow so fast and have so much information so young. Bless them all.
