As someone who has served in the Armed Forces and a military brat, I know it can be difficult to send loved ones into harm's way. This is a wonderful show of support for all those in the military -- both abroad and holding down the fort stateside.

Beautifully expressed, Zenith. I had those same feelings when my brother served in Viet Nam on the front lines. He died this last July of cancer, probably caused by agent orange. No matter the outcome, your brother will be fine and he already is in my prayers. In fact, if you will send a prayer request to lighthouseofprayer.earthlink.net, I'll see that he is prayer for globally! Please read my poem, "Do You Not Know?" inspired by Isaiah 57:1-2. And, remember, "no matter the outcome." Love in Christ~~ Bonnie Q

We all hate war but at times it is the price we pay for our freedom. Your brother will be alright just keep bombarding heaven for his safe return

You keep writing it out. My prayers are with you and your family. But I think it is great that you are able to pen your feelings. Very good poem, Zenith. God Bless you.
