Like a child my heart was wandering
the situation was running through my
mind
Not meaning to yet they were there
but God assured me he would be on time

It was a war going on in my members
between the spirit and the flesh
One was believing, the other was deceiving
and it was beginning to be a mess

But a calmness came, to remind me of this
that when you pray, you must believe it's done
and not go back to pray about it again
for that battle has already been won

Although our situations look bad to us
out of control, they may seem to be
But it's nothing to God to fix it
all this he wants us to see

For he told us to bring our burdens to
him
and then to leave them there
Lay every load upon his shoulders
so that each one, he can bear

He is a problem fixer in the darkest hours
in our weakness he is our strength
and no matter what we're going through
his power goes beyond any length

So whenever our thoughts began to wonder
and fret about how or what to do
Just remember that he's forever faithful
to come through for me and you
